Recently held at Riverbanks Marikina City, Philippines. Organized by ShopaloozaPH. Kicking off the event by first group Thy Bidden, which I really support, because the lead guitarist is my best friend. Supposedly I'm not going , because of some unplanned schedule, pero dahil nakapag YES na ko, I decided to go & bring my friends,cousin, sister & the LUCKY CAP na hindi naging effective dahil may kaparehas..hahaha sayang nga lang walang banner!!
12 mins. was the given time for each participant, including their preparations and performance, while preparing.. I just can sense that theirs something wrong with Brian (yung guitar nya hindi marinig) ,at iba yung singer nila, but when the front man started singing... Shocks!! he got me there! His voice reminds me of an Icon! Sir Rico Blanco! Waaaahh!! Their first song was not familiar, but lyric wise. Then the second song explode when he sangs Bangon, bumangon din balahibo ko!! I may sound bias but that what I felt during the performance. Two thumbs up for the group!!

Then the 2nd group called, The Wet Balls, well the name sounds green..hahaha But not their music. They perform 2 original composition, at nag simula na silang magwala!! Literal.. :D

The crowds favorite. Nung sila na nakita ko talaga, dumame lalo yung tao sa paligid namen. Milky Summer compose of , Barbie ,The Beatles hair, Astig na drummer, awesome lead guitarist and another cute guitarist (crush ni BEST) . Disclaimer: Their names are base on what I saw!! ^___^ A feel good performance, playful with matching Megaphone, barefoot singer and jumping basist that bag the 1st place of the battle. Well deserved!! Clap Clap Clap

Then KRYSENIC is next. First song was freaking disturbing, yet the lead singer's voice is as good as mine!!???? ( just kidding) :D Powerful voice though. I love their own rendition of "ANAK" by Fredie Aguilar,that put them on 2nd place.

The last group is the Raki Road,i guess 12 mins is not enough for then, their 2nd song got cut off, because of preperation took it all away. Lead singer has a strong vocal power, need to practice more...

After all the reformance every group was called on stage and judges gave their scores.They gave consulation prizes to those who didn't make it to top 3.
1st Place- Milky Summer
2nd Place- Krysenic
3rd Place- Pepe's Tribe
After the awarding ceremony, the battle ends with the performance of the Winner, together with 2 judges.
